The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 “Hospital Blue” is an updated variation of the ever-popular Yeezy 700 model that was released in fall 2019. Adidas and Kanye West continue with a nuanced approach to reimagining core Yeezy footwear as they apply subtle tweaks to the Yeezy Boost 700 V2 to differentiate the model from its predecessor. Unlike the original design that used a mixture of suede and leather on its upper, the 700 V2 employs a full suede construction on its overlays. Luxe light grey suede with a blueish tint covers the mid-panel, toe, lateral panel, and heel. A matching shade of mesh comprises the base of the design underneath the suede overlays. Contrasting touches include synthetic silver hits throughout the upper. Keeping in tune with vibe of the chunky silhouette, the 700 V2 applies a sturdy midsole that includes grey, light blue, and silver accents, all of which house the familiar Boost cushioning unit.
